Dr. Barak Chizi graduated in 1996 as an industrial and management engineer in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He further specialised in AI and machine learning (MSc and PhD in Tel – Aviv University), and since then teaches this subject at Tel – Aviv University and In Ben – Gurion University.
In 2003 he became a data specialist for the Israeli government. In parallel, he started his own consulting firm, providing unique knowledge to global companies. In 2011 he was appointed as senior R&D director and Senior Researcher at Deutsche Telekom.
In May 2015, he joined KBC and from August that year he started his role as General Manager, big data, data analytics and AI.
