SPAA stands for Sepa Payment Account Access. SPAA is the newest European Payments Council (EPC) scheme, covering messaging functionalities allowing the exchange of payment account-related data and facilitating the initiation of payment transactions in the context of premium services provided by asset holders of asset brokers.
EPC published the first SPAA scheme rulebook on November 30 and plans a second version in Q2 2023.
