The Banking Scene Afterwork

Bank of the Future: Vision by International Banking Federation

The first speaker for the second theme (Bank of the Future) is Hedwige Nuyens, Managing Director of the International Banking Federation.

Together with her, we will investigate the future landscape of our banks, the possible impact of Bigtech and COVID-19 and the scenarios for them to remain relevant actors in society in the future.

Some of the questions we will discuss with Hedwige are:

  • How did COVID-19 impact our industry?
  • What are the possible directions of Bigtech in the banking sector?
  • How can community and savings banks make a difference compared to global institutions?
  • Online vs branches: how will this evolve in the coming years?
