Banking for Good: Rabobank's Vision on Sustainable Living
Rabobank has ambitious plans for sustainable living.
On their website, we can read: "The transition to sustainable housing in the Dutch housing market is a major challenge for our society. As a socially responsible bank and the largest Dutch mortgage lender, we want to facilitate and encourage "greener" living. We are focused on making sustainable living accessible for everyone in the Netherlands. We do this through a growing number of certified sustainability advisors at our local banks."
What makes this plan so ambitious is not so much the promotion of sustainable living but on making it accessible for everyone in the Netherlands.
This detail triggered us to invite Huib De Mulder, Director Living to help us understand how big the challenge of sustainable living is on the one hand and how difficult it is to make it available for all.
Together we'll find out what alternative solutions Rabobank is currently looking at to deal with these challenges.
As usual, if you attend, you will be part of an intimate highly interactive group of professionals that can openly share their views under Chatham House Rules, we do NOT publish the recordings.
